Everybody say "Hi"
Sunday is the official start date for our first book of the summer. As of this morning there aren't any signed up to study in real time, but several have indicated they would be reading along. If you plan to join us in reading the book and discussing it here on this website, please say hello in the comment section. If you have a Gmail address, you should already have a profile for commenting. If you don't, they are easy to acquire. ReplyDeleteHello, I will be joining via this website.

I'd like to join, although my time is limited. Can we get this book at Borders ... or??? I'll try.

Picked up the book yesterday - finished what I was reading very late last night and will start on the introduction tonight. Thank you for the prompt - I am looking forward to trying this to see how it will work.

The book is available at Borders for sure, or any major retailer. It's relatively new, so should be easy to find. Used copies on Amazon are cheap, and the library has a few as well.
ReplyDeleteFound one at the graham library. Borders online said it was for shipping only. Has anyone started yet? I won't be able to start reading until tomorrow and am not a very fast reader and have limited time with kids/work etc... will try to keep up but can't promise anything.... :)
ReplyDeleteI also picked up the book yesterday and am playing catch up. It is easy to read but find myself rereading because of the message. Jan Barrett
ReplyDeleteStarted reading last night...all I can say so far is I want to go to Hawaii.... oh, am I supposed to be more seriousl that that??? ;)
ReplyDeleteread the introduction and some of the first chapter - I agree with Jan - have to reread and then remember since I read and don't remember well - enjoyable visual scenes with the written words.
ReplyDeleteChapter 3--I think I get it, then I think I don't. One thing though, I received the following in an e-mail today and it came to mind as I read about the embodiment of God
ReplyDelete"Look back and thank God.
Look forward and trust God.
Look around and serve God.
Look within and find God!"
